Ann Marie is a leader within the academy in the training and strategic use of Twitter as a communication mechanism for students and institutions. Most recently having conducted a Twitter training at the national Women’s Leadership Institute you may follow Ann Marie at @annmarieklotz.
Ann Marie Klotz is employed at DePaul University where she currently serves as the Assistant Director for Residential Education. She earned her B.A. from Grand Valley State University (Political Science) and M.A.’s from Michigan State University (Student Affairs) and DePaul University (Women and Gender Studies). She is the current President of the DePaul Women’s Network and Co-Chair for Social Media Initiatives for the Women in Student Affairs (WISA) Knowledge Community for NASPA. She serves as the immediate Past President for the Great Lakes Association of College and University Housing Officers (GLACUHO). Ann Marie is a third year doctoral student and is working on her dissertation entitled “A High Heel in the Door: Challenges Women Face on the Road to the College Presidency.”
