The National Association of Executive Recruiters inducted Ellen Heffernan into the NAER Hall of Fame at its recent annual conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. Induction into the Hall of Fame is the highest honor bestowed upon an NAER member. Only two other individuals in NAER’s long history have received this honor; Ms. Heffernan is the third.
Ellen Heffernan is the chief executive officer of Spelman Johnson, working for three decades in partnership with educational institutions, member-based associations, and member-driven non-profits across the country. She serves on the faculty of several leadership development programs and has received many prestigious national awards and honors. Ms. Heffernan currently serves on the board of the National Association of Executive Recruiters and is a member of the American Council on Education (ACE) and the Network of Non-Profit Search Consultants.
